The Question

Your website looks fine. But is it working?

Most companies evaluate their website through questions like: Does it look professional? Is it mobile responsive? Is the branding good? Does Google like it?

Those questions matter. But they’re incomplete.

The more important question is: what is your website doing for the business?

  • 01Is it helping someone understand your offer?
  • 02Is it building enough trust to make them consider you?
  • 03Is it moving them toward action?
  • 04Is it capturing demand?
  • 05Is it helping your sales team?
  • 06Is it converting the attention you're already paying to acquire?

Because a website can be beautiful, fast, SEO-friendly, technically excellent… and still be a poor business asset.

Poor business asset

The TSM Nexus Belief

Websites don't exist to look good.

They exist to perform a function inside a business. Your website sits somewhere inside a larger system — and a failure anywhere in that chain can create a leak.

Figure 01 · The chain
Schematic
Hover or tap a stage to see how it leaks

We don’t start with the design. We start with the chain, and ask where it breaks. That’s what we investigate.

A revenue leak is rarely dramatic. It is almost always a quiet, reasonable-looking decision.

Definition

What is a revenue leak?

Definition

A revenue leak is a point of friction, confusion, mistrust or failure that prevents existing demand from moving further through the business.

It doesn’t necessarily mean “your website is losing exactly ₹X.” That would be dishonest without the underlying data.

Instead, we ask: where is the website creating measurable or plausible commercial exposure?

Table 04-A · Five common leaks
Weak positioning

Visitor doesn't understand the value.

Lower engagement.
Weak trust

Visitor understands the offer but doesn't believe the company.

Lower intent.
Conversion friction

Visitor wants the solution but struggles to take action.

Lost lead.
Poor lead qualification

The company generates leads but the wrong ones.

Sales inefficiency.
Poor performance

Visitor abandons before experiencing the website.

Lost opportunity.

The System

The 13-Layer System

We look at the website as a system. Instead of asking “does this website look good?”, we investigate thirteen layers — and 144 parameters beneath them.

Why 144

The 144-parameter idea

Why 144? Because websites don’t fail in one dimension.

great designterrible positioning
great trafficterrible conversion
great conversionterrible lead quality
great messagingterrible trust
great technologyno demand

The 144 parameters let us look at the website from multiple angles rather than making a subjective judgment based on aesthetics.

The Founder's Question

“Okay. But what is actually wrong with my website?”

That’s where the audit becomes useful. Instead of dumping observations on you, we classify every finding.

IMPACT

How consequential could this be?

How strong is the evidence?

EFFORT

How difficult is the correction?

What We Look For

The Business Leak

And sometimes… the website isn’t the problem. This is one of the most important things TSM Nexus can tell a founder.

Figure 04 · Is the website the bottleneck?
Demand exists. Revenue doesn’t follow.
Website is the bottleneck

We identify the leaks, rank them, and tell you what to fix first.

Website is not the bottleneck

We say so — and point at what actually is:

  • the offer isn't compelling
  • the market is too small
  • there isn't enough demand
  • sales follow-up is poor
  • customer retention is weak
  • pricing is wrong
  • positioning is confused
We don’t want to redesign a website to hide a business problem.

If the website isn’t the bottleneck, we’ll tell you.

Before You Apply

Three things we ask from you

01
Be honest.

Tell us what you actually think is wrong.

02
Give us context.

A website can't be evaluated properly without understanding the business behind it.

03
Be open to uncomfortable findings.

Sometimes the most valuable conclusion is: “This isn't a website problem.”

TSM Nexus · Revenue Leak Field GuidePage 20 / 20
The Final Page

Your website is already doing something.

The question is: is it doing enough? You already spend money getting people to your business.

MarketingSalesContentAdvertisingPeopleTechnology

Your website sits somewhere in the middle of all of it. So we think it deserves to be treated like a business asset.

Not a brochure.
Not a vanity project.
Not something you redesign every three years because it looks outdated.
A system that should contribute to growth.
